Statement of Educational Effectiveness
The Master of Arts (Theological Studies) at Pacific Theological Seminary prepares women and men for specialized ministry in the church and world. In 2026, 100% of our MA(TS) graduates (3 of 3) entered active ministry, with two serving in professional ministry positions and one in a vital lay leadership role. All three completed the degree within the published time-to-degree for the program, indicating that our curriculum, mentoring, and student support structures are helping students progress and graduate on schedule. These results are reviewed annually by faculty and academic leadership to strengthen the program and to ensure it remains aligned with our mission and the needs of the churches and ministries we serve.
While we have not yet had an MDiv graduating cohort, current students are progressing satisfactorily through the curriculum, and we will begin reporting MDiv completion and placement data once the first cohort graduates.
